An Answer for Jody
If FTG really wanted to do what's right "for the fans" (a phrase he used several times in the press conference) and for the sport (something else that came up a lot), would he not have salvaged more from the Champ Car side in the "merger"? Would he not made more of an effort to at least say at this point that in the future, we're going to make this series great, something that all our partners will be happy with, promoters, teams, drivers, and especially fans? Wouldn't he have done ANYTHING to prove that this wasn't about his ego and Indy?
